To climb on support you need to do more than heal. Healbotting keeps a losing fight alive for two extra seconds; carrying means creating value your team cannot get without you - a clutch save, a big pick, an anti-heal that decides the teamfight. These supports have the tools to make plays even when your teammates are not helping.
Rule one of climbing on support: damage is healing. Every shot you land is one the enemy has to be healed back from. The supports below all have real offensive output, not just a heal beam.
Kiriko
Suzu cleanses anti-heal and hard crowd control on a swap, teleport lets you save anyone, and headshot kunai kill squishies outright. The complete climb pick.

Ana
Anti-heal wins fights on its own, Sleep Dart cancels enemy ults, and Nano turns your tank into a monster. The highest ceiling in the role.
S-tier
Baptiste
Immortality Field saves whole teams from ults, the window doubles all damage, and his rifle out-duels most DPS. Value on both ends of the fight.
