The pp of a play scales with length, so long maps of consistent patterns pay big for a single clean pass. Here is how marathon farming works and the long maps worth grinding.
By OSUMAUK Staff
The difficulty value of a play scales with how many objects it contains, so a long map of consistent patterns can out-pay a brutal short one. That is marathon farming - trading the high-risk grind of one very long, clean pass for a payout no 90-second map can match. It rewards stamina and consistency over peak difficulty.
Marathon farming is stamina management. Pick a map a full star below your short-map ceiling - you need headroom to stay clean when your arm tires, not a map you can only barely pass fresh.

Warm up properly before a marathon attempt and stop the moment your form breaks - pushing tired reps just teaches your hands the wrong motion and wastes the run.
For shorter, lower-risk farming see the main pp farm guide, and check your unstable rate across the full map in the Replay Analyzer - a marathon FC with a stable UR from start to finish is the real sign your stamina held.
