The Colombian strategist. Rain down guided missiles and tactical strikes to break sites from range.
By VALMAUK Staff
Tejo is the Initiator for players who think in artillery. His kit is built around ranged, map-wide strikes — guided missiles, sticky concusses and a devastating tactical bombardment — letting him soften and clear sites from a safe distance. He arrived as a powerful, info-and-area-denial hybrid and quickly earned a place in the competitive pool.
Rather than flashing teammates onto site, Tejo opens space with damage and displacement. His missiles and ultimate force defenders out of position, and his stealth drone supplies the reveal his strikes need to land. He is a calculated, lineup-friendly agent that rewards map knowledge.
| Ability | Key | Cost | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stealth Drone | C | 400 credits (as of the current patch) | Throw and pilot a stealth drone, then trigger a pulse that suppresses and reveals enemies it catches. |
| Special Delivery | Q | 200 credits (as of the current patch) | Launch a sticky grenade that adheres to the first surface it hits and explodes, concussing and damaging nearby enemies. |
| Guided Salvo | E | Signature, ~150 credits with a free charge on round start (as of the current patch) | Mark up to two locations on the map, then launch guided missiles that strike those points for area damage. |
| Armageddon | X | Ultimate, 9 points (as of the current patch) | Mark a start and end point to call a cascading tactical strike that sweeps across the chosen path of the map. |
Tejo has already seen notable balance changes, so confirm current costs, charges and keybinds in-game before relying on them.
Tejo is a ranged enabler. Use Stealth Drone to scout and suppress a site, then mark Guided Salvo onto the angles defenders are likely holding — the missiles flush them out and deal damage from across the map. Special Delivery is your close-and-mid range tool: bank it around a corner to concuss a held angle right as your team swings.
Because so much of his power is in pre-aimed strikes, Tejo rewards learning lineups for common hold spots and defuse positions. Armageddon is a full execute or retake button — paint a path across a site and the cascading strike denies the entire area, perfect for clearing a plant or forcing defenders off the bomb. Coordinate the strike with your team’s push so you exploit the space it creates.
Tejo generally favours maps with defined sites and choke angles his missiles and strikes can carpet — Ascent, Sunset and Lotus are reasonable starting points. His ranged kit makes him adaptable, but the active map pool and ongoing balance tuning will dictate exactly where he is strongest.
Pro tip: drone first, then salvo. Use Stealth Drone to confirm where defenders are holding, and mark Guided Salvo onto those exact spots — a strike on a known position is worth far more than a hopeful one on an empty corner.
High. Tejo’s strikes are easy to fire but hard to fire well — maximising him means memorising salvo and Armageddon lineups, reading enemy positioning, and timing strikes with your team’s movement. A study-heavy agent with a high skill ceiling.
