Valorant newest Controller, who fights to the beat. Miks brings rechargeable smokes, a heal-or-concuss sound device, a combat-stim buff and a deafening, slowing ultimate.
By VALMAUK Staff
Miks is the newest Controller on the Valorant roster, a Croatian, sound-and-rhythm-themed agent revealed during the 2026 competitive season. His pitch is a flexible support-leaning Controller: he gets rechargeable smokes like the meta picks, but bolts on a sound device that can either heal allies mid-fight or concuss enemies, a shareable combat stim, and a deafening, slowing ultimate. He is a jack of all trades whose exact meta footing is still settling, so expect his numbers to move.
| Ability | Key | Cost | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| M-pulse | C | ~250 credits per charge (verify in-client for the current patch) | EQUIP M-pulse. ALT-FIRE to toggle between Concuss and Healing outputs. FIRE to throw the device. Upon landing it sends out sound waves, either Concussing or Healing players. |
| Harmonize | Q | ~200 credits (verify in-client for the current patch) | EQUIP Harmonize. Target an ally and FIRE to activate a Combat Stim and a speed boost on yourself and the ally that refreshes with each kill. ALT-FIRE to grant the stim and speed boost to yourself. |
| Waveform | E | ~100 credits per smoke (verify in-client for the current patch) | EQUIP a Map Targeter. FIRE to set locations. ALT-FIRE to spawn Smokes at the selected locations. |
| Bassquake | X | Ultimate, ~8 points (verify in-client for the current patch) | EQUIP Bassquake. FIRE to build up and unleash Sonic Radiance forward, knocking back, Deafening, and Slowing players. |
Miks plays like a supportive Controller. His Waveform smokes work like the other rechargeable smokers — set locations from the map targeter and confirm — so handle your core vision-denial job first. Where he stands apart is M-pulse: toggle it to Concuss mode to pulse and stun a holding angle ahead of an entry, or to Heal mode to top up a teammate mid-site, functioning much like a sustained healing field. Read the situation and pick the output that wins the fight.
Harmonize is a tempo and trading tool: target your entry fragger to give both of you a combat stim and speed boost that refreshes on kills, so a snowballing push keeps its buff alive. Save Bassquake for the execute or retake — its forward cone deafens and slows everyone caught in it, cutting the enemy off from audio and movement long enough for your team to swing. As a brand-new agent, his power level and best usage are still being figured out, so adapt as the meta shakes out.
"Miks does not just deny vision — he can heal the push that walks through his smoke or stun whatever is waiting on the other side.
Because Miks is so new, there is no settled map pool for him yet, and any recommendation here is a best guess rather than established theory. His rechargeable smokes suggest he will fit most maps that any rechargeable smoker plays, with extra value where the heal and stim can support tight executes. Watch the early competitive picks and patch notes closely before committing him to ranked.
Tip: get in the habit of pre-aiming the ALT-FIRE toggle on M-pulse so you commit to Concuss or Heal before you throw. Throwing a heal when you needed a stun (or vice versa) wastes a 250-credit charge at the worst possible moment.
Medium. The smoking is standard, but getting full value means juggling the M-pulse toggle, ally-targeted stims and heal timing on top of vision control. As a new agent his optimal play is still being discovered, so expect a learning period and frequent balance changes.
