Marksman is the highest-ceiling carry role in the game. Here are the strongest ADCs right now and the order to learn them in as a newer player.
By LOLMAUK Staff
The ADC, or bot-lane marksman, is the role built to deal sustained damage in the late game. It is also the role that punishes bad positioning the hardest, because you are made of paper until your items come online. That trade - fragility now for game-ending power later - is the whole appeal, and it is why learning ADC in the right order matters so much.
Your first ADC should teach you positioning and last-hitting without a hard combo getting in the way. Learn to survive first, then learn to carry.
These champions have simple kits, so all your attention goes to the two skills every ADC lives or dies by: farming cleanly and standing in the right spot during a fight. Miss Fortune and Ashe are about as beginner-friendly as the role gets, and both stay useful at every rank.

Miss Fortune
Strong laning poke and a stand-still ult that ends fights

Ashe
Built-in slow, a global stun ult, safe and utility-heavy
Start here
Sivir
A spell shield that teaches you to dodge key abilities
Start hereOnce positioning feels natural, move to carries that ask a little more but give you a much higher ceiling. Jinx rewards good fights with resets that snowball a lead into a win. Caitlyn has the longest range in the class and punishes anyone who mispositions. Ezreal is safer, skillshot-based, and teaches you to play from range.

Jinx
Resets on kills turn a won fight into a won game
Step up
Caitlyn
Longest range in the role, brutal lane bully
Step up
Ezreal
Skillshot-based and mobile, safe once you land his Q
Step upWhen ADC feels comfortable, these are the carries worth the extra effort. They can hard-carry games on their own, but they demand crisp mechanics and good decisions to get there, so they are not where you want to start.

Kai'Sa
Flexible builds and a shield dash for self-peel
Later
Samira
A melee-range carry with a huge but risky ceiling
Later
Aphelios
Five weapons to manage - deep, but heavy on knowledge
Later"A great ADC does not do the most in a fight - they do the most for the longest. Every second you survive is another second of damage nobody else on your team can match.
Work through the list in order, lean on a good enchanter or engage partner from the support guide, and keep your last-hitting sharp. The tier list will tell you which of these are strongest on the current patch when you are ready to pick a main.
